Mission Statement for the Cowlitz County Fair.
Provide a quality educational, entertaining event for the community and surrounding areas in a safe and wholesome family atmosphere.
Showcase agriculture and natural resources to teach exhibitors and the public about their heritage and educate them about the economic impact of these items.
Support 4-H and FFA programs to promote youth in agriculture.

Parking is available on 7th Avenue across from the Fairgrounds for $10.00, per day – CASH Only
You may purchase a season (4 day) parking pass at the entrance of the lot for $30.00 on Wednesday only.

Cowlitz County Fair FAQ's
1When is the fair?
The 2024 Cowlitz County Fair will be held July 24 – July 27, 2024.
2What is the admission price to the fair?
There is no admissions fee, entry to the fair is FREE.
3How much does it cost to park?
Parking in the 7th Avenue Lot is $10.00 per vehicle, per day
4If I park in the 7th Avenue lot, can I leave and come back on the same day?
Yes, please show the attendant your parking pass when you re-enter on the same day.
5How do I reserve a vendor spot at the fair?
If you are interested in being a vendor, please call 360-577-3121 and ask for the fair vendor coordinator.
6How do I apply to perform at the fair?
Each year applications are accepted to perform on our small stage throughout the duration of the fair. Please complete the Fair Entertainment application and return it to the Fair office no later than Friday, May 31, 2024.
7How do I apply to work at the fair?
The fair employs a small group of individuals to help with the fair each year. Hiring typically takes place the week before the fair starts. Must be 18 years or older. Please reach out to Express Employment to let them know you’re interested in working at the fair.
8How do I purchase rodeo tickets?
Rodeo tickets will be available online and in the Fair Office soon! Please visit the rodeo website https://www.thundermountainprorodeo.com/ for more information and to purchase tickets once available. You can also purchase tickets in person at the Fair Office starting on Monday, July 8th. Fair Office hours are Monday – Friday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm until Tuesday, July 23rd.
9How much are rodeo tickets this year?
: Ticket prices vary by day and if they are reserved seating or general admission. See pricing information below:

10I have a two-year-old, do they need a ticket to the rodeo?
Children under the age of two do not need a ticket if they sit on your lap. If you want them to have a seat, they will need a ticket.
11How do I purchase tickets for The Frontmen concert?
Concert tickets are sold by KUKN Country available now, online or at Bob’s Sporting Goods in Longview, WA. Please visit https://www.kukn.com/frontmen. Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 at the gate. Please call KUKN at (360) 636-0110 with questions regarding the concert.
12When is the concert?
The Frontmen concert is on Wednesday, July 24th at the Cowlitz County Fair. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the show starts at 7:00 pm.
13What is seating like for the concert?
Stadium style seating is available. Do not bring your own chairs. Saving seats with blankets is not permitted. Standing room only available on arena floor.
14How do I enter my project/animal into the fair?
Please visit the Exhibitor Information tab on our website for more information. We use an online platform called Fair Entry for all our entries. Paper entry forms are not accepted.
15When is the deadline to enter my exhibits into the Fair?
All entries must be registered online at https://cowlitzcountyfair.fairentry.com/Fair/SignIn/20452. Animal entries are due on July 1st and all still life exhibits close on July 17th. Please check with the individual department for when the exhibits can be brought to the Fair.
16I need help entering my items into Fair Entry. Where can I get help?
Please stop by the Fair Office between the hours of 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday to get assistance. The Fair Office has i-Pads available for your convenience to enter into Fair Entry. Please note the Fair Office will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th and Thursday, July 4th in observance of Juneteenth and Independence Day.
17Where is the Fair Office?
The Fair Office is located inside the Cowlitz County Event Center at 1900 7th Avenue in Longview.
