  • Paradise Amusements Carnival is open the following dates and times during the 2026 Cowlitz County Fair:

  • A session is a 5 hour block of time that your wristband is good for at the Paradise Amusements Carnival.

  • Wednesday, 7/22 - 5:00PM - 10:00PM
    Thursday, 7/23 - 5:00PM - 10:00PM
    Friday, 7/24 - 12:00PM - 5:00PM, 5:00PM - 10:00PM

  • Yes! You may exchange an untampered with Session 1 wristband for a Session 2 wristband on the same day for an additional fee.

  • While a ride wristband is for ONE person to ride unlimited rides, a credit pack allows FAMILIES to pre-purchase credits as they like that can be utilized for rides, games, and/or food concessions.

    Credit packs are available in QTY 60 and QTY 100 and can be purchased by clicking the ‘GET YOURS NOW’ button above.

Showcase agriculture and natural resources to teach exhibitors and the public about their heritage and educate them about the economic impact of these items while supporting 4-H and FFA programs

AIMS + PURPOSES

FOSTER A STRONGER SENSE OF COMMUNITY PRIDE AND BELONGING:

Continue to search for new activities and exhibits to implement within the fair that highlight Cowlitz County's unique history, local businesses, and community achievements.

INCREASE PARTICIPATION AND VOLUNTEERISM FOR ALL AGE GROUPS:

Develop targeted outreach programs to encourage new exhibitors, and new Superintendents in non-traditional fair categories (e.g., technology, sustainable living).

DEEPEN UNDERSTANDING OF AGRICULTURE’S ROLE AND IMPACT:

Partner with local agricultural organizations and businesses to offer educational workshops on topics like sustainable farming, local food systems, or agricultural technology.

EMPOWER YOUTH THROUGH EXPANDED 4-H/FFA OPPORTUNITIES:

Showcase a wider range of 4-H and FFA projects, including those that reflect evolving interests and career paths (e.g., robotics, coding, entrepreneurship).

ENHANCE THE OVERALL FAIRGOER EXPERIENCE THROUGH INNOVATION AND ACCESSIBILITY:

Introduce new entertainment options that appeal to a broader demographic while maintaining traditional fair attractions.

ENSURE THE LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY AND POSITIVE IMPACT OF THE COWLITZ COUNTY FAIR:

Conduct post-fair surveys and analysis to gather feedback and identify areas for continuous improvement and growth.
